OP021: Opuntia aurea ‘Coombe’s Winter Glow’ (Winter Glow Beavertail Cactus)  Smooth, spineless, spoon-shaped pads are deep wine-purple in winter.  Glowing, fuchsia-pink flowers in June.  One of the hardiest beaver tail types I’ve tried and the most beautiful.  8” high by 60” wide.  Dry fruit.  Tremendous landscape potential. Huge pink flowers on a blue stem!
