PE001: Pediocactus simpsonii (Mountain Ball Cactus)  Solitary, spherical plant usually with dark spines.  Light to dark pink flowers form a halo on the plant in March/April.  Provide with excellent drainage in a rock garden or trough.  3” high by 6” wide.  Grown from seed collected in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado.
