Kuenzler's Hedgehog Cactus is a beauty. Dark green stems and light-colored recurved spines give it a distinct look. The huge magenta flowers in May/June are followed by red fruits. Our garden-collected seed should be relatively pure. 6 inches H x 8 inches wide. Single stems or sometimes a few multiple heads. Zone 4. Sold in 2.5" pot.
